New York ACEP will promote the value of ACEP membership, enhance communication and increase participation of its varied membership.

  • Make New York ACEP membership essential to emergency physicians and physicians in training
  • Focus on increasing young physician membership
  • Focus membership recruitment on state residency programs, to increase residency program director involvement and focus on faculty recruitment in programs with minimal representation
  • Create and offer a residency visit program
  • Assist members with career development through forums, educational programs, networking and mentoring to help physicians make transitions throughout their careers
  • Provide avenues to address physician well-being
