Practice Management Committee

 
New York ACEP will promote safe, efficient and high-quality patient care practiced in a fair, equitable, safe and supportive environment and will assist members in gaining greater influence over their practice environment.
  • Serve as a resource for member inquires
  • Continue to promote a relationship with the Department of Health and other regulatory agencies to enhance policy development and review current emergency department issues
  • Define and prioritize issues related to information technology; patient flow/throughput; medical liability; performance improvement; reimbursement and utilization review
  • Work with the Office of Professional Medical Conduct to ensure that emergency medicine cases are reviewed by board certified emergency physicians
  • Explore opportunities for strategic alliances on issues of common concern
