ITLS Introduces eTrauma Cost Calcuator: New Tool to Analyze Program Benefits

Comparison Calculator Helps Coordinators, EMS Systems, Fire Departments Evaluate Overall Costs of Incorporating eTrauma into Training Programs

ITLS eTrauma

International Trauma Life Support wants to show you exactly how affordable ITLS eTrauma really is as a solution for training providers.

The ITLS eTrauma Cost Calculator is an interactive tool you can download that will allow you to compare the cost of presenting the ITLS Provider course as the traditional 2-day model versus utilizing ITLS eTrauma in conjunction with a 1-day Completer Course.

This new tool, developed by the ITLS Editorial Board, can assist chapters, EMS systems, and fire departments interested in incorporating ITLS eTrauma into their educational program.

Download ITLS eTrauma Cost Calculator

The download will open an Excel spreadsheet that will prompt you to enter values appropriate to your setting. The How To tab gives detailed instructions for determining what to enter in each cell.

As the calculator reveals, using eTrauma to certify providers can be a highly cost-effective solution for large and small organizations alike when salaries, out-of-office hours, and travel expenses are factored in.

The ITLS eTrauma package now sells for $105, a savings of more than $25 off of the original purchase price. The package includes the 6th edition ITLS Provider manual and 8 hours of continuing education credit from CECBEMS for the student.

The $105 price reduction was set to expire December 31, 2010, but has just been extended by Pearson. There has never been a better time to try ITLS eTrauma for Provider certification!
