Be an ITLS Instructor
Reciprocity is granted to ITLS instructors from other states. An instructor coming into New York must provide notification to the New York ACEP ITLS Program Coordinator and supply current instructor documentation. This documentation will include the instructor's past ITLS instruction activities and a letter confirming the activity from their former area Medical Director.
Once approved by the New York ACEP ITLS Medical Director, the instructor candidate will be briefed and monitored by a New York ACEP ITLS faculty member.
