Agency Requirements

New York ACEP is excited about the prospect of being able to make ITLS available in other areas. To establish your agency as a ITLS education site, you will need to submit a letter of intent on the following materials:

  • Agency offering ITLS
  • Course location
  • Name and contact information for your course medical director
  • Medical director's Curriculum Vitae
  • Letter from director acknowledging acceptance of the responsibilities associated with serving as medical director as well as an understanding of the ITLS curriculum and a willingness to participate in courses (template attached)
  • Documentation of course faculty certification as ITLS instructors
    Estimated number of providers/instructors you foresee training per year
  • Statement of acceptance of the responsibilities associated with serving as coordinator along with compliance of all New York ITLS policies.
