New York ACEP will foster and support emergency medicine research and research education in New York State and develop a statewide network of emergency medicine investigators and clinicians throughout the State positioned to develop data to be used by leaders to focus a clear agenda for the future of emergency medicine in New York State.

Promote emergency medicine research across New York State through the annual Research Forum.

Advance and promote a common research curriculum for residency programs.

Support the development of a research consortium to advance and enhance the knowledge base of emergency medicine and provide a statewide network of leaders in emergency medicine research.

Develop a venue for researchers to interact, develop thoughts and collaborate on research projects.

Develop and evaluate tools that will assist the chapter in gathering information important to the chapter's mission statement & strategic plan and provide sound evidence for policy decision makers.
