Continue to promote a relationship with the Department of Health and other regulatory agencies to enhance policy development and review current emergency department issues

Define and prioritize issues related to information technology; patient flow/throughput; medical liability; performance improvement; reimbursement and utilization review

Work with the Office of Professional Medical Conduct to ensure that emergency medicine cases are reviewed by board certified emergency physicians

Explore opportunities for strategic alliances on issues of common concern
